BIOGAS INSTALLATION 200 M3/H, SILOXANE REDUCTION

The Sorbofil® GPE – S 950 filter, along with Sorbotech® GE 604 activated carbon, operates at one of the many wastewater treatment plants and is used for siloxane reduction. The biogas, purified from silicon compounds, originates from municipal wastewater. The carbon filter is filled with Sorbotech® GE 604 molded carbon, which performs very well in this type of application.

Installation 80,000 m3/h, TDI reduction

Two large, parallel-working carbon filters of the Sorbofil® GB 40 type filled with Sorbotech® GGCO 105 activated carbon. The devices are used for purifying air from TDI compounds, which are generated during the formation of polyurethane foam used in the production of mattresses for the well-known company IKEA. These are our largest units with activated carbon available in our offer. The maximum flow rate at which they can operate is 40,000 m3/h. The working capacity of the carbon filter is 18 m3.

4 filters, each with 13,000 m3/h capacity, air deodorization

In a facility producing toilet blocks and other household items, a total of 4 Sorbofil® GB 14 filters filled with Sorbotech® GE 504 activated carbon are operating. The filters are tasked with purifying the air from intense odors generated during the production process. The selected activated carbon performs excellently in such installations. The high efficiency of the Sorbofil® GB 14 carbon filter, combined with the Sorbotech® GE 504 media, allows the client to replace it only once a year.

Installation for Styrene Reduction 80,000 m3/h

Delivery of two largest Sorbofil® GB 40 carbon filters to our international client, intended for removing styrene from the filtered air. A total of 18 tons of Sorbotech® GE 604 activated carbon was used for both filters. The filtration units operate in series at a gas flow rate of approximately 80,000 m3/h.
